Who we are

Goulart & Associados is led by Rissiane Goulart, an attorney and legal consultant with 25 years of experience in Brazil and abroad, specializing in corporate law, business negotiations, and strategic mediations. She holds a Master of Laws in International Law (California, USA) and a specialization in International Relations (São Paulo, Brazil). Rissiane is certified by the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the International Mediation Institute (IMI). She represents the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) before the National Council of Justice in the Over-indebtedness Working Group. She is the President of the Mediation Committee of the OAB/SC (2019-2021/2025-2027), the Secretary-General of the Special Committee on Mediation and Conciliation of the National OAB (2022-2024), the Vice-President of CCAMI – the world's first Mediation and Arbitration Chamber for Human Rights and Refugees, the Vice-President of the Brazilian Institute of Contract Law of SC, the Director of Mediation at CMAA – the Mediation and Arbitration Chamber of ACIF, and a Board Member of Converge Resolve and Cam-CMR – the Business Restructuring Chamber. She is also the founder and co-organizer of the Brazilian Mediation Day in Paris, a professor in postgraduate and master's degree programs teaching negotiation and mediation, and a speaker and facilitator of corporate negotiation and mediation training.

We work in partnership with a multidisciplinary network of highly qualified professionals — including specialists in finance, management, organizational psychology, and risk analysis — to ensure that our legal solutions are integrated, effective, and sensitive to the multiple dimensions involved in each strategic decision. This collaboration with other areas of knowledge allows us to offer more comprehensive, practical, and sustainable responses to the challenges faced by our clients.
